Summer: “in a way it sort of like…says…so much by…saying so little.”

Hahaha this is what my friends and I always do when we go and critique art. “Wow, the explicitness of their dark misery comes through in this sketch and you can tell with the emphasis and pressure of the lines and tiny flame in that corner right there.” I feel like I’m writing an answer to another one of those art history questions again.

I visited the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art last night and that’s exactly how I felt.
